The Fin Solutions Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.Responsibilities:Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:

Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations

Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance

Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes

Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications

Strategic professional who advises on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business.

Acts as a technical expert who acts as an advisor on significant business/product decisions

Implements policies and procedures.

Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:6-10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred

Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.

Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.

Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment

Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

In depth knowledge of banking products / systems preferred.

CPA preferred

Education:Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

Description:This opportunity is in the Controllers – Transformation group in Tampa, FL. This position will partner with FRSS Operations, Technology, and other key stakeholders to reengineer regulatory filings at contract levels as part of Citi’s US Regulatory Reporting Initiative. The project’s goal is to implement a centralized, standardized and automated solution for all global reporting and retire legacy processes.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in design, build and implement transformation processes, data and infrastructure to support Finance Transformation efforts

Explain breaks between current and future state reporting at both data and rules levels.

Explain, support, prioritize and escalate data and rules issues to R2R GPO, Citi Controller, and Corporate Reporting remediation teams

Suggest short-term tactical adjustments while strategic solutions are implemented

Coordinate implementation of future state and retire legacy processes with production reporting teams.

Advise controls and efficiency improvements

Development and implementation of reporting platform (RegInsight)

Support user rollout activities as a Subject Matter expert

Provide periodic status updates to management.

Define business requirements for system enhancements;

Interface with the end-user community to determine business requirements;

Work with technology partners to ensure mutual understanding of requirements;

Perform testing to ensure that software complies with functional requirements;

Track functional deliverables against established time commitments

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance required with regulatory reporting highly preferred

Advanced Microsoft Office and SQL skills

Specific knowledge of a product area (Loans, Commitments, Securitizations) highly preferred

In depth knowledge of banking products / systems preferred.

Detailed understanding and knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements including but not limited to the following reports; Prudential, CCAR, BIS Pillar 3, 10K/Q, TIC SHLA/SHCA, TFC. TIC SLT, FFIEC 041 etc. preferred.

Must be a quick study and highly effective under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, across levels and functions

Exhibit persuasion and leadership skills to work within a highly collaborative culture

Strong problem solving skills

Organized and structured project management skills

An understanding of current systems and regulatory processes, data standards, and hierarchies
