Description If you are a self-driven and organized accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you! Our client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. You will monitor audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, and financial statement preparation as the Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper may also manage clerical staff. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Pembroke Pines, Florida area. Maintain sales tax records and creates and files quarterly payments

Extra unique tasks if required

Update Accounts Payable

Record budget transfers

Prepare cash flow projections, as needed

Oversee Accounts Receivable

Qualified in credit card management and reconciliation

Conduct monthly accounting close

Get ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Organize cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Draw up monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Recap business license and gross receipts Requirements - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

Strong time management and organizational skills

Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Vow to meet business deadlines

Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

5+ years of related experience- Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

Proficiency in financial statement preparation

Knowledge of Analyze Financial Statements

Journal entries experience desired

Proven knowledge of WIP - Work In Progress

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience highly desired

Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
