Full Stack Java Developer

Duration: 12 months (long term assignment)

(at least 3 days per week)

Manager Notes:
  • Looking for a

    mid-level full stack developer

    with 3+ years of experience that can work independently focused in Core Java.
  • Any exposure to

    modern UI (react or angular) is a plus
  • Tampa only.

Job Description:You would be part of a fast-paced team enhancing a

large-scale web based Corporate Actions application. You will have the opportunity to work on many different used across the application.

Strong communication skills are a key. The

position is based in Tampa and is required to

manage day-to-day delivery work, ensure adherence to process and quality, and identify project/program delivery risks and

works on risk mitigation. Requires good analytical skills to be able to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and applies skills and knowledge of the business to develop creative solutions to meet client and business needs. You will be required to work with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.

  • 3 – 6 years of experience in the following

    • Core Java

    • Java EE
    • ReactJS (not required)
    • REST (Nice to have)

    • JavaScript
    • Typescript (not required)

    • CSS4

    • HTML5

    • SQL
  • Demonstrated excellence in backend software development, with

    core Java as a primary skill but likely to have experience of other languages too
  • Very Strong Java skills ideally gained in a large scale

    multithreaded, distributed environment
  • Familiarity with

    Linux - you are comfortable at a

    command line

  • SQL skills – you know your way around an

    RDBMS
  • An ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
  • A strong team ethic, happy to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones
