Full-Time Service Writer for Vip Marine Service Inc

The Service Writer is responsible for communication with both internal and external customers as related to services and estimates.

Responsibilities include:

Quoting and scheduling repair service; preventative maintenance; prep and delivery service

Oversee all paperwork and reports related to the service functions

Other responsibilities as assigned

Routing of Road Service Technicians

Ensure safe work environment and proper repair of customers vessels

To be successful in this role you must have:

-Strong communication and multitasking skills

-Knowledge with understanding of makes, o Full-Time Service Writer for Vip Marine Service Inc. models, features of vessels

-Understanding of boat parts and accessories and common problems related to service and maintenance

-Complete understanding of preventative maintenance

-Ability to read and comprehend manufacturer’s technical publications, schematics, and parts manuals

-Strong work ethic

-Working proficiency with Windows, Office, and Gmail

-QuickBooks experience is a plus

-Strong computer typing skills

-“Can-do” attitude

-1-3 years experience
