The Maxar Tampa Team is looking to hire Geospatial Developer supporting USSOCOM. As the geospatial developer on the team, you will be responsible for functional support across each analytic team by developing the following:

What you'll do day-to-day:
  • Geospatial automation scripts using a variety of software development libraries and APIs
  • Geospatial GUI's using frameworks that integrate into ESRI's ArcDesktop and ArcPro
  • ETL scripts that enable data integration into Social Network Analysis and Geospatial applications
  • AI/ML training sets and models for the following tasks:
    • Object Classification using Satellite Imagery
    • Object Detection using Satellite Imagery
    • Named Entity Recognition using unstructured/semi-structured text
    • Sentiment Analysis using unstructured/semi-structured text

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, GIS, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing software and/or data science solutions using Python.

Preferred Skills:
  • AI/ML model development using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV)
  • R Studio development
  • GIS experience using ESRI's ArcDesktop, ArcPro, ArcServer
