Role Summary:This individual will have two major responsibilities as one will oversee Enterprise Architecture and Technology Innovation.

Enterprise Architecture. This is a new position within the group, reporting directly to the group CTO with responsibility for ensuring that Enterprise Architecture is created and maintained with appropriate governance across the group businesses and technology teams. This includes business, data, and technology architecture, supporting technology choices, standards, and principles.

Technology Innovation will lead the creation of strategies and plans that define how technology should be utilized to enable the organization's overall business strategy. Applies knowledge of best practices to define how technology will shape the overall strategy, governance, organization structure/staffing, architecture, and processes to maximize the impact of technology. Maintains knowledge of evolving trends in technology strategy and management and applies those to develop innovative approaches to deliver value for the organization. This leader will maximize business value by conducting rigorous analyses and developing strategic multi-year road maps in concert with other IT leaders and business teams.This is a highly influential role, in a business undergoing a step-change in the use of technology to underpin business strategy. Extensive digitalization across all facets of the businesses; customer experience, commercial, operational etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Design technology strategy and planning workshops based on business objectives and stakeholder analysis including adopting appropriate approach/methods, facilitation techniques, pre-work, artifacts, and deliverables.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary cross functional team in the planning and execution of technology strategy and planning workshops
  • Drive IT transformation efforts: own/shape the move toward an agile, product based operating model
  • Partner with business functions to identify new opportunities including process and/or value chain analysis, business service model, business canvas, process, and solution enablement plan
  • Scout emerging technologies and define new opportunities that can add business value
  • Defines appropriate processes and manages compliance to ensure corporate delivery quality at product/platform/program level (e. g. requirements management, risk management, change management, issue management, resource management, project accounting etc.)
  • Executes a governance process to provide corporate executive leadership with visibility into program performance and decision-making ability

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (business, computer science or information systems)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT roles spanning strategy, architecture and/or delivery functions driving transformation and data strategy
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in at least two of the example offerings (IT Value Strategy, Technology Innovation and Ecosystems, IT Operating Model, Enterprise Architecture Strategy)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvements or IT transformation recommendations
  • Ability to lead the planning, organizing and facilitation of executive-level strategic or IT planning workshops and ability to orchestrate emerging technologies to client services and solutions on cloud platform
