Innovation is a senior level position offering very attractive base salary with bonus along with a pension plan.

Head of Enterprise Architecture and Innovation. This position reports directly to the group CTO with responsibility for ensuring that Enterprise Architecture is created and maintained with appropriate governance across the group businesses and technology teams. This includes business, data and technology architecture, supporting technology choices, standards and principlesThis is a highly influential role, in a business undergoing a step-change in the use of technology to underpin business strategy. Extensive digitalization across all facets of the businesses; customer experience, commercial, operational etc.

Suitable candidates require previous skills and experience spanning:
  • Enterprise Architecture in large-scale complex organizations, encompassing data, applications (ideally including CRM or ERP), integrations and infrastructure
  • Confidently and effectively managing strategic 3rd party/vendor relationships and contracts
  • Strong understanding of technologies including cloud (such as AWS and/or Azure)
  • Experience of Enterprise Architecture tools
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Establishing understanding of business direction and building trust as a strategic advisor
  • Demonstrable experience of analyzing, designing, planning and implementing enterprise analysis to successfully execute on business strategies
  • Developing and Enterprise Architecture framework.
  • Ensuring relationship between Enterprise Architecture and the catalogue of Enterprise Services is established and maintained.
  • Enterprise Architectural Planning to help structure IT projects and policies to achieve desired business result
  • Providing technical governance through a team of Solution Architectures.
  • Upholding Information Security and Privacy requirements
  • Data Management governance; effective control of master data and shared data
  • Translating business objectives into multiple business process and technology and options with varying commercial models.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a busy environment, contributing to multiple, often disparate projects concurrently
  • Commercial mindedness, ideally with experience of providing Enterprise Architecture out to businesses via consultancy or in a centralized function within group
  • Formal experience and ideally certification with a leading EAP methodology such as TOGAF, Open CA or Zachman

The Head of Technology Innovation will lead the creation of strategies and plans that define how technology should be utilized to enable the organization's overall business strategy. Applies knowledge of best practices to define how technology will shape the overall strategy, governance, organization structure/staffing, architecture and processes to maximize the impact of technology. Maintains knowledge of evolving trends in technology strategy and management and applies those to develop innovative approaches to deliver value for the organization. This leader will maximize business value by conducting rigorous analyses and developing strategic multi-year road maps in concert with other IT leaders and business teams.

Professional Skill Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Design technology strategy and planning workshops based on business objectives and stakeholder analysis including adopting appropriate approach/methods, facilitation techniques, pre-work, artifacts and deliverables
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary cross functional team in the planning and execution of technology strategy and planning workshops
  • Drive IT transformation efforts; own/shape the move toward an agile, product based operating model
  • Partner with business functions to identify new opportunities including process and/or value chain analysis, business service model, business canvas, process and solution enablement plan
  • Scout emerging technologies and define new opportunities that can add business value
  • Defines appropriate processes and manages compliance to ensure corporate delivery quality at product/platform/program level (e. g. requirements management, risk management, change management, issue management, resource management, project accounting etc.)
  • Executes a governance process to provide corporate executive leadership with visibility into program performance and decision-making ability

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field (i. e., Business, Computer Science or Information Systems) from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum ten years in IT roles spanning strategy, architecture (business, data, digital, information systems, infrastructure) and/or delivery functions driving digital transformation and data strategy leveraging emerging technologies and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in at least 2 of the example offerings (IT Value Strategy, Technology Innovation and Ecosystems, IT Operating Model, Enterprise Architecture Strategy)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation recommendations
  • Ability to lead the planning, organizing and facilitation of executive-level strategic or IT planning workshops and ability to orchestrate emerging technologies to client services and solutions on cloud platform
  • Excellent interpersonal skills especially in areas of teamwork, facilitation, influence, and negotiation
