Hiring: Yacht Captain – 43m Private Vessel

We are seeking an experienced Yacht Captain for a 43-meter private motor yacht. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The vessel is currently undergoing repairs and maintenance, with plans to cruise again in Summer/Fall 2025. The right candidate will be comfortable navigating this transition period and setting the program up for success.

Position Overview:

Private use only (no charter)

Full-time opportunity

Yard period experience essential

Planned Florida/Bahamas itinerary

Ideal Candidate:

Holds a Master 500 GT license (or higher)

Proven experience as Captain on 35m+ vessels

Strong engineering background preferred

Experience working with older vessels and confident managing ongoing maintenance

Practical, proactive, and hands-on with excellent leadership and communication skills

Calm, professional, and discreet under pressure

Able to guide the vessel through a maintenance phase and into active service

Yacht currently located: Fort Lauderdale
