HUMAN RESOURCES - TECHNICAL RECRUITER - R&D PHARMACEUTICAL TAMPA, FL Position may start remote then move to a hybrid schedule 2-3 days a week.Project Description:

  • The Research & Development (R&D) division is seeking a Contract Recruiting Specialist, Talent Acquisition (TA) for the Headquarter Medical and Medical Capabilities functions.
  • This role is responsible for executing hiring plans and partnering with the Associate Director of Development Talent Acquisition, Business Leaders and HR Generalists to efficiently fill vacancies with internal and external talent, utilizing best practices in full life-cycle recruitment, with a specific focus on hiring from the biotech industry.
  • Implementing strategies to achieve operational effectiveness, quality of hire, time to fill and diversity of slate metrics.
  • Engaging with the business to increase knowledge and ability to differentiate the client's from key competitors.
  • Direct sourcing and candidate engagement to hire the best talent for current openings.
  • Creating and managing talent pipelines to have ready-now candidates for future openings.
  • Utilizing the Employment Brand and Employee Value Proposition to effectively market opportunities to external prospects and enhance rapport over the long-term.
  • Analyzing recruitment metrics and designing strategies based on outcomes.
  • Ensuring adherence to compliant recruiting and hiring practices in all transactions.
  • This individual will assume accountability under the R&D Talent Acquisition Leadership Team for executing the talent acquisition strategy, collaborating with stakeholders, managing key relationships, including the candidate experience and hiring manager satisfaction.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years professional experience in a talent acquisition, talent management or human resources role, including 6 years in a direct recruitment role.
  • Prior experience in scientific or R&D recruiting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in executing comprehensive hiring plans with the ability to deliver niche, hard-to-fill recruitment for specialized roles.
  • Ability to execute large-scale initiatives is a plus. Fluency in Taleo, or similar applicant tracking system, and online sourcing networks is required.
  • Powerful contracting and consulting skills with a proven track record influencing senior level management is also required.
  • Proven experience in assessing and selecting exceptional talent for the business.
  • Presentation and project management skills are desirable.
  • Proven ability in problem-solving and analytical reasoning to support outcomes and ability to mobilize change in an organization are required.
