The team exists to solve complex problems, concentrating on regulatory & capital optimization opportunities to support the business strategy of the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) franchise. In partnership with Risk, Finance, Front Office, Compliance, and Technology groups, FRM provides guidance, structure, and analysis for efficiency efforts and project portfoliosFRM Strategic ProjectsThe Strategic Projects team collaborates across both FRM and the ICG franchises to track, manage, and coordinate programs from initiation to delivery. Strategic Projects exist to facilitate collaboration between various teams, to manage risks and issues during the project lifecycle, and identify high-impact issues that require solutions. The individual drives the overall administrative activities of the practice. These tasks may include managing external audits, maintaining controls, supporting business managers or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs as necessary. This individual will manage ad hoc projects as needed.Responsibilities:Partner with local and regional business management team to ensure alignment of business goals

Manage a team by providing technical knowledge, coaching, evaluation, determining hiring etc.

Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing projects, determining strategies, and defining/providing metrics

Advance control framework including executing Manager’s Control

Partner with local and regional business management team to ensure alignment of business goals

Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing projects, determining strategies, and defining/providing metrics

Advance control framework including executing Manager’s Control Assessment testing, operational loss processes, and corrective actions

Prepare materials, record minutes, and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/ or regular business meetings

Seek out sources, track, consolidate and analyze ad-hoc and regular business requests

Drive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadership

Provide input into and recommend technology change, process improvements and control framework enhancements

Seek out and ensure corrective actions are implemented for control related issues and remedial action is taken

Communicate business knowledge, product knowledge, and requirements to business and internal support functions

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Maintain procedure documentation across the practice

Establish and maintain procedures/routines to sample test control effectiveness

Maintain documentation and testing of user tools and models

Facilitate supervisory attestations (various)

Assess user access on a recurring basis (EERS)

Maintain document storage and disposal

Maintain mandatory absences

Establish and maintain documentation of user tools (formula, inputs, outputs)

Manage the remediation of business owned issues

Operate as the liaison to local real estate teams

Manage onboarding/off-boarding

Manage and track hiring/diversity efforts

Create and maintain plan figures for team expenses, including managing the engagement with external service providers

Track, manage and approve expenses

Qualifications:6-10 years of experience in financial markets business or business support

Experience with foreign exchange and/or interest rate products preferred

Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite; basic macro coding experience and proficiency in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint preferred

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Additionally, the candidate should have an appetite to develop a detailed understanding of the following areas:Regulations concerning capital, liquidity, tax and related technology infrastructure

Master’s degree preferred
