Import/Export Clerk

Description Robert Half is currently working with a distributor who is seeking an Import/Export Clerk. In this role you will directly partner with customers in the Caribbean. Communication is key for the role.Overview of duties:

Negotiating prices, terms of sale, transportation arrangements with suppliers, distributors, and clients

Preparation of required documentation such as, packing lists, invoices, shipping documentations etc

Coordination of shipments (air, sea and over the road)

Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete

Monitor inventory levels

Calculating shipping costs and negotiating with carriers/ freight forwarders

Requirements

Bachelor Of Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field

Knowledge of of import/export regulations, customs procedures is a plus

Must have clear communication skills

Must have clear verbal and written communication skills

Bilingual; english and spanish
