Installation Department Helper–CCTV Cameras

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Installation Department Helper to join our team and support our field technicians in maintaining and servicing CCTV systems.

The Installation Department Helper plays a key role in assisting the service team with installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV camera systems. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in learning the security and low-voltage industry while working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

· Assist service technicians with the installation, testing of CCTV cameras, NVRs, and related security equipment.

· Help pull and organize cables, mount cameras, and label connections.

· Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and job site equipment.

· Assist in verifying proper system functionality under technician supervision.

· Maintain cleanliness and order in vehicles, workshops, and job sites.

· Safely operate company tools and vehicles as directed.

· Support documentation of service work, including photos and service notes.

· Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent (required).

· Basic understanding of electrical or low-voltage work (preferred).

· Ability to use basic hand and power tools.

· Physically able to lift to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors.

· Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

· Experience in CCTV, or access control installation.

· Familiarity with low-voltage wiring and basic networking.

· Customer service experience in a technical or field setting.
