Publix is able to offer virtual/remote employment for this position in the following states:GA, AL, TN, SC, NC, VA Apple Systems Engineering involves defining, developing, maintaining, and advising on the effective use of Apple devices and computers within the Publix Information technology architecture.- Software and hardware architecture design, installation, configuration, integration, and support

- Technical leadership with other engineers in specific disciplines
- Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical discipline, or equivalent experience,
- experience supporting iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and macOS operating systems and hardware platforms in a large corporate environment, experience managing and securing, and configuring iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and macOS devices with a Mobile Device Management solution, development experience with Python, AppleScript, BASH/ZSH scripts.
- 2-5 years of experience designing, planning, implementing, and supporting large releases,
- experience securing diverse technologies, platforms, and applications,
- in-depth experience implementing, migrating, managing, and administering the macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS operating systems in a large corporate environment,
- experience supporting desktop productivity software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Safari, font management tools, etc.),
- in-depth knowledge of development tools such as Visual Studio, Xamarin, or Xcode.
- in-depth knowledge of Apple hardware (MacBook, iMac, iPad, iPhone, etc.),
- experience with automating application installation and configuration,
- experience with Jamf Pro and Apple Configurator
- experience designing, documenting, managing, and deploying macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS updates,
- ability to anticipate and identify issues that conflict with security and compliance requirements,
- ability to resolve complex business and technical issues by making decisions using sound business judgment,
- in-depth understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies,
- experience in forecasting, planning, and managing hardware and software budgets,
- experience leading projects from requirements through implementation,
- experience working in a process structured environment which includes Change Management, Incident/ Problem Management and Disaster Recovery Preparedness, solid understanding of the functional and operational practices necessary to operate in a highly available, highly secure, and highly regulated environment to meet business and compliance requirements
