RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client is seeking an IT Purchasing Coordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities: IT Purchasing Coordinator will act as a technology liaison between stakeholders and vendors Aid in the development of effective plans to support efficient and effective deployment of equipment and services across the enterprise Develop and oversee effective asset management processes and systems for technology-related items; Leverage those systems where possible for other stakeholders Gather and analyze business requirements for equipment and services Utilize feedback from customers, assets, and business requirements to inform budgeting process As an IT Purchasing Coordinator, you will establish and maintain documentation of all policies and procedures for responsible tasks Ensure compliance to established Service Level Agreements through regular monitoring and reporting to supervisors Ensure that equipment is correctly ordered and delivered; Communication to stakeholders is timely and clear As an IT Purchasing Coordinator, you will maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; Reviewing publications and staying abreast of current technological advances Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related services as needed Ensure adherence to good safety procedures Follow federal and state laws, as well as company policies

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution or equivalent experience; Preferred degree majors include Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or Personnel Administration, or a related field Familiarity with common technology items, infrastructure and school-based experience preferred Experience operating in ITIL framework preferred Proficiency in common business software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and the mission of the company; Supports company's goals and strategic priorities Works and interacts with staff and relates to individuals at all levels of the organization; As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image Demonstrates ability to lead people and get results through others Thinks ahead and plans over a 1-2 year time span Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to consistently be at work, to arrive on time, to follow instructions, to respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Strives to research, evaluate, and implement best practices Strong customer orientation Establishes excellent interpersonal skills between all constituents: being courteous, professional, and helpful; Demonstrates high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
