Contract to hire role for an experience QA SupervisorThis position supervises the Insurance Quality Assurance Analysts and other third-party Quality Assurance Analysts. This is a contract to hire role HYBRID to Clearwater FL. This is not open to remote candidates. 6 month contract and then must be open to converting to an employee.P&C Insurance knowledge is required

Essential Duties
  • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
  • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
  • Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
  • Coordinates product testing processes.
  • Participates in product testing.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
  • Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements1. Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or Finance or a related field desired2. Strong knowledge & interest of software platforms, business systems and database design practices.3. Expertise in using Microsoft Excel and Office productivity tools.4. Exposure to and use of any Business Analyst tools, Quality Assurance processes, and utilizing Defect & Issues tracking software.5. Ability to work in teams and display competence of working within a team environment.6. Understanding of Agile Project Management Environment (Scrum) a plus
  • Three to five years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus.
  • Five Plus years’ experience in Property and Casualty Insurance experience a plus.
