About the team:The Strategy and Operations Enablement team focuses on improving FIS outcomes by enhancing our agile ways of working, removing process friction and providing transparency to our TechDev teams and to our partners across the delivery lifecycle.

What you will be doing
  • You are a strategic thinker that will lead the evolution of TechDev transformation. You are a polished, articulate and well-written individual with solid agile development leadership experience. Your true objective is to actively accelerate engineering performance improvement and to share progress in doing so. You will use data to provide a candid assessment of the current situation and you will proactively work with leaders to set them on a path to exceed their targets.
  • Your initial focus will be on OKRs and metrics. You will:
    • Ensure that the data needed to achieve OKRs is accurate, accessible and consumable by each respective engineering team.
    • Analyze data and processes to identify positive and negative trends in engineering performance.
    • Call out impediments to achieving objectives and coordinate efforts to remove those impediments.
    • Understand industry trends and benchmarks and drive process improvements that will increase accuracy and relevance of measurement.
    • Ensure current measurement coverage and limitations are understood and drive a plan to close gaps.
  • You will also synthesize, prepare and deliver the message regarding TechDev engineering performance. You will:
    • Articulate to TechDev leaders, partners and executives why any positive or negative trends are occurring. You will celebrate the successes and call out what is being done to remediate any shortfalls.
    • Engage with partners within TechDev as well as partners across the lifecycle to provide transparency and ensure alignment.
    • Ensure continuity and accuracy of messaging.
  • You will lead strategic initiatives and address ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • You will lead and develop a team of analysts.
What you bring:A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Experience in delivering the message regarding TechDev engineering performance.
  • Experience as a strategic thinker that will lead the evolution of TechDev transformation.
  • Experience articulating to TechDev leaders, partners and executives why any positive or negative trends are occurring.
  • Strong communication skills to celebrate the successes and call out what is being done to remediate any shortfalls.
  • Experience engaging with partners within TechDev as well as partners across the lifecycle to provide transparency and ensure alignment.
  • Ensure continuity and accuracy of messaging.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives and address ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Experience leading and develop a team of analysts.
