IT Support Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an IT Support Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role involves providing technical support to customers, vendors, and guests during events, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and managing hardware such as computers, laptops, iPads, and printers. The position also entails daily Help Desk support for staff members and the handling of inventory control tasks.Responsibilities: Offer on-site technical support to customers, vendors, and guests before, during, and after events. Patch and deploy network cables and wire ethernet ports for events. Handle troubleshooting of user problems and network connectivity issues, including wired, wireless, and VPN connections. Provide daily general Help Desk support to staff members. Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of various hardware including office computers, laptops, iPads, POS Terminals, printers, and cell phones. Set up workstations and configure user profiles. Install, configure, and update workstation software and provide operational guidance to users. Assist with inventory control tasks, including the repair or replacement of parts. Deliver quality customer service via telephone, mail or in-person interactions. Use skills such as MS Office 365, MS Windows 10, Comptia A+, Comptia Network+, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, OneDrive, Network Troubleshooting, Cloud Technologies, Desktop Hardware, SharePoint and others as required.
