Description:Provides necessary development and design of critical IT applications software products in support of core and network platforms, including determining internal and external customer requirements, architecture and systems design, oversight of Advanced programming and coding, and follow-up of design implementation and results.

Day-to-Day
  • Install and test new software releases, patches and system upgrades.
  • Understand software QA concepts and rapid development methodologies
  • Provide Tier 3 support for custom software within the environment.
  • Create and maintain documentation of software configurations and support issue resolution.
  • Consistently meet assigned project deadlines and goals.
  • Ability to work On Call or provide After-Hours support rotation in order to resolve issues with critical software and/or systems.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture a plus.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal departments and external vendors.

Requirements
  • 3 years plus in Spring, Java, Maven, Docker with strong proficiency
  • Experience with MySQL Server
  • Significant experience and firm understanding of API designs: RESTful, XML, XSLT, JSON
  • Experience with git version control
  • Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Experience with Amazon web services a plus
