Location: Tallahassee, FL (ONSITE)Develop new JAVA applications. Enhance existing JAVA applications. Work with the OIT to gather business requirements. Provide maintenance and support for the Department’s JAVA applications. Provide project leadership.Develop and enhance project and technical documentation. Mentor OIT staff in JAVA development skills.Ensure that the OIT’s Service Delivery Framework, Standards and Procedures are followed. Transfer to OIT staff the knowledge necessary to maintain Department applications worked on, including any related technical knowledge.Mandatory Qualifications: Experience developing database driven applications in a JAVA environment using Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE), MINIMUM 4 YEARS.Apache Tomcat application server software.Gather and document business requirements, MINIMUM 4 YEARS.Working with DB2Desired Qualifications: Microsoft SQL ServerCrystal Reports, provide years of experience.Developing applications for the Department’s Division of Unclaimed Property systems.
