Java Developer w DevOps job vacancy

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Java Developer w/ DevOps for a direct placement with one of our premier financial services clients in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities :

Responsible for building out the firm's strategic data and document management platforms used by the Institutional Clients Group in the firm.
Using innovative custom modules and vendor solutions to solve complex contract document extraction problems for the firm (\with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence tools.
Take ownership of key projects and components and will be responsible for all phases of the SDLC including: analysis and design, development, testing and deployment.
Will be responsible for providing technical guidance to junior developers, including overseeing their deliverables, provide architectural guidance, enforce firm's best practices, and conduct code reviews.
Need to understand system and enterprise architecture concepts and will be expected to understand how all components fit together and impact one another.
Will work with a global and diverse team of peers as well as liaise closely with Business Analyst, Production Support, and Infrastructure teams
The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
5-8 years of relevant experience with Java
Testing and DevOps experience
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Strong Java development skills, understanding of Spring and Spring Boot micro-services oriented architecture
SQL/PL-SQL (Oracle) and No-SQL (MondoDB)
Familiarity with data structures (b-tree, linked list, hash) and algorithms (sort, merge, b-search)
Modern CI/CD, one-click deployments (Jenkins, TeamCity, uDeploy)
DevOps culture; Unix commands and Korn shell scripting
Tester mindset
