Jira Administrator

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Tampa, FL (Day 1 Onsite)

SummaryThe Jira Administrator is responsible for supporting the role out of the Client Facing Jira instance. The Jira Administrator will be configuring new and existing fields, screens, workflows and notifications, as well as creating filters and dashboards. The Jira Administrator will work with Confluence to upload existing documentation to the site for client usage.

Basic Qualifications:Overall IT experience – 5 years

3+ years of experience working with JIRA

Knowledge in AWS is a plusExperience configuring screens and fields within JIRA and modifying workflows

Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level support for Client-Facing JIRA change requests.
  • Configure new and existing fields, screens, workflows, and notifications.
  • Develop advanced filters and dashboards.
  • Create Confluence spaces and upload documents to the pages.
  • Create Knowledge Base Articles about the Client Facing Jira instance for internal use.
  • Serve as a JIRA administrator. Implement JIRA and maintain responsibility for administration, maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements to JIRA, Confluence, and integrations with other tools or plugins.
  • Administer JIRAs core and software, Confluence, and formulate technical solutions using JIRA and associated JIRA plugins or Atlassian products.
  • Create JIRA projects, queries, and reports, as needed.
  • Create custom workflows, post functions, and validators, make changes to workflows, screens, fields, and reporting, and provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance.
  • Develop solutions and manage JIRA and Confluence queries and dashboards for metrics reporting for various teams.
  • Serve as the JIRA and Atlassian technical resource for migrations to ensure the adoption of development and workflow processes, address user questions, and develop training, as needed.
