Jr Accountant

Description Robert Half is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates looking to kick-start their professional journey in the field of accounting. The successful candidate will provide critical accounting support, gain exposure to different aspects of the business, and engage in various financial operations.Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing financial statements and documentation to support accounting functions in the organization.

Contribute to the maintenance of general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations.

Assist with month-end tasks and in preparation of reports detailing financial results.

Manage data entry for accounts payable and receivable.

Provide support during internal and external audits.

Comply with financial policies and procedures of the company.

Collaborate with the senior accountants to develop new procedures and improve existing ones.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.

Strong academic credentials and demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles.

Proficient in major accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong numerical skills and quick at calculations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
