Description We are seeking a dedicated and organized Junior Accountant to join our growing financial team. The successful candidate will contribute to the accuracy of our company's financial information by maintaining key financial records, updating accounts, and preparing financial statements primarily under the supervision of a senior accountant. The Jr. Accountant will also work closely with various departments to ensure consistent financial operations.Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Perform account reconciliations and handle bookkeeping tasks.
Record financial transactions and post entries to relevant ledgers (e.g., in accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, etc.)
Provide assistance in budget preparation and expense management activities.
Participate in monthly tax computations and filings.
Engage in continuous knowledge development in accounting principles, best practices, and industry trends.
Verify and inspect account books for accuracy.
Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee records and monitoring company assets.
Assist in the preparation of audits and provide pertinent documentations.
Comply with all legal and company procedures for financial processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
Proven experience in a similar role or a strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong numerical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
