Kindergarten Teacher Part Time Christian Private School

Covenant Academy is a private Christian school that partners with parents in a hybrid model. We are seeking to fill an immediate position for a Kindergarten Teacher, who is passionate about teaching young students. The ideal candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus, have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves developing engaging lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the needs of students.

Teaching Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Experience

A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in kindergarten.

Strong skills in teaching phonics and reading, as well as classroom management.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Experience working with groups of students at different levels.

Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
