We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of traditional Japanese techniques, creativity for modern fusion, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls with precision and consistency

Ensure proper handling and freshness of seafood and ingredients

Maintain a clean and organized sushi station while upholding health & safety standards

Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and execute seasonal specials and event menus

Engage with guests when appropriate, showcasing knowledge and hospitality

Requirements

Previous experience as a sushi chef in a high-volume or upscale restaurant

Excellent knife skills and knowledge of Japanese ingredients

Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work under pressure

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Willingness to learn and grow with the restaurant
