Landscape Foreman

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of landscaping skills. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring that properties are visually appealing and well-kept. The Landscape Technician will work with various tools and equipment to perform tasks related to lawn care, tree care, and groundskeeping.

Duties

Perform lawn care activities including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating lawns.

Execute tree care tasks such as pruning, trimming, and planting trees.

Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.

Assist in hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.

Clear snow from driveways, walkways, and other designated areas during winter months.

Dig trenches for planting or installation of landscape features as needed.

Conduct regular groundskeeping duties to keep properties clean and tidy.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools.

Experience in mowing, snow plowing, hardscape installation, irrigation setup, and general groundskeeping is preferred.

Ability to dig and perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.

Familiarity with lawn care techniques and tree care practices is highly desirable.

Proficiency in using power tools safely is essential.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
