In this highly visible and key role, you will partner with key product owners and the Sr. Datawarehouse Manager to deliver analytic capabilities that bring value to The ODP Corporation’s customers and internal analytic business teams while demonstrating The ODP Corporation’s core principles of Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring and Creativity. As The ODP Corporation continues to transform into a high-tech company from a traditional brick and mortar retailer, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of best-in-class team of highly skilled technology professionals.Your responsibilities will be:Lead an agile team in support of a specific Function at The ODP Corporation, such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Merchandising, Ecom or Contract.
Host a daily stand up with your team, review solutions, host mob coding session, mentor team and develop on key projects.
Work directly with key business stakeholders and the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Data & Intelligence.
Produce recommendations and insights for stakeholders that will help shape effective analytic and data strategies.
Simplify and automate data-driven activities; build cloud solutions to have maximum scale and self-service ability by stakeholders.
Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting, analysis, ETL, data integrity, test automation, data quality validation, and documentation.
Cultivate a high performing team by mentoring, hosting solution reviews and Mob coding sessions.
Understand business objectives and translate those objectives into development pipelines for your engineers.
Travel to Boca Raton FL and/or Austin TX 3-4 times per year.
RequirementsA degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Minimum 6 years as a developer in the Data Warehouse discipline working on MPP databases (Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, etc.).
Experience leading teams of developers deliver Data Warehouse Solutions.
Proficiency in MPP databases, Data Warehouse design, ETL tools like DataStage or Informatica,
Desire to solve the most complex and high scale data challenges in the world today leveraging the cloud.
Excellent SQL and hands-on scripting ability.
Ability to architect a BI/DW solution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating Enterprise Data systems on Azure, AWS or GCP
Experience in agile principles.
Experience leading a global team in the U.S., India, etc. is a plus.
