Why You'll Love This Job: As a member of the Enterprise Test Engineering group, you will be responsible for estimation, design, development and maintenance of functional and regression test automation scripts. In this role, technical expertise in Java and Selenium\\Java is required to develop and maintain automated tests validating the functional design specification is met in the application under test. Candidates must have in-depth technical knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle, leadership skills and the ability to work well with both business clients, developers and key stakeholders.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute functional and automated test scripts using Java and Selenium/Java
  • Track defects to closure, report test results, continuously monitor execution milestones and escalate as required
  • Review functional specifications/user stories for testable requirements.
  • Support delivery pipeline adoption and collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to resolve open issues
  • Identify environmental and data requirements; collaborate with Development and Testing teams to manage and maintain environment and data
  • Provide guidance to team members related to test coverage, test scenarios, resiliency principles, and non-functional requirements
  • Develop a functional understanding of the product being delivered including architecture considerations and technical design
  • Maintain traceability of functional requirements/Test Cases to automation test scripts.
  • Develop automation test strategy and approach.
  • Maintain well organized records of test results and generate historical analysis
  • Support overall ETE activities such as development of Test Approach, Test Cases, and manual test execution as needed.

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong hands-on experience using Java 8 for test automation
  • Advanced Selenium development skills, ability to develop, maintain, enhance, and execute complex automated scripts
  • Experience on API automation with REST Assured
  • Experience in build tools such as Maven, adding dependencies, maintaining pom.xml file
  • Knowledge of TestNG and JUnit frameworks
  • Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot framework is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Git and Bitbucket
  • Ability to write medium complexity SQL queries
  • Experience on automated test integration with Jenkins Pipeline
  • Experience of testing in AWS environment (EC2, Kinesis Data Stream, PostgreSQL)
  • Expertise in end-to-end automated testing in Java, Selenium to validate system functionality
  • Ability to interpret technical designs and specifications and design automated solutions accordingly
  • Ability to provide automated testing expertise to project team, troubleshoot automation issues
  • Expertise in testing the DTCC LEI application adherence to GLEIF policy and procedures
  • Expertise in testing and automating operational and validation functionalities in the DTCC LEI application
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage automation activities and provide testing status to stakeholders
