Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Analyst in Miami, Florida. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on managing export activities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, handling documentation, and staying abreast of changes in compliance requirements. You will be expected to have a strong background in international trade regulations, with the ability to handle complex regulatory environments.Responsibilities: Interpret and provide guidance on Export Controls (BIS and ITAR Licensing, Denied Parties, OFAC Embargos and Sanctions) Anti-Bribery, Anti-Boycott, HTS and ECCN classification, AES reporting requirements and Free Trade Agreements (FTA). Analyze domestic and foreign trade data to generate useful information and guidance for client businesses. Manage export documentation and classification procedures. Ensure compliance with internal controls and government regulations on import-export procedures; identify compliance risk areas and suggest preventive or corrective actions. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external regulatory bodies. Stay updated on changes in compliance requirements and inform the team accordingly. Discuss any controversial questions, external conflicts, administrative problems and similar matters with the supervisor. Requirements Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Logistics Analyst role or similar. Proficient in handling compliance-related tasks in logistics operations. Excellent customer service skills are required to effectively liaise with clients and team members. Must be experienced in handling Export - Import documents, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant. Familiarity with import-export regulations and procedures is necessary. Experience in managing export controls and ensuring all operations adhere to relevant laws and guidelines. Must be able to efficiently coordinate export shipments, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ability to problem-solve, work independently and take initiative is required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software is a plus. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
