Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in Miami, Florida, 33131, United States. In this role, you will be expected to handle various tasks related to inventory management, purchase orders, and shipping coordination. You will also be responsible for providing administrative support and maintaining efficient communication with various stakeholders.Responsibilities: Accurately process and track customer credit applications Maintain and manage inventory control processes Coordinate with relevant stakeholders regarding purchase requirements based on inventory and orders Send purchase orders to vendors and confirm delivery details Reconcile shipment notifications with the warehouse and adjust discrepancies between ordered and delivered material Coordinate and monitor product requirements with the sales department to ensure timely order fulfillment Review vendor invoices for alignment with agreed terms, quantities, materials, and prices Obtain and negotiate freight rates with steamship lines and trucking companies Act as a liaison between customers, shipping lines, and freight forwarding Provide customers with general assistance regarding all issues related to shipping and logistics Maintain an updated database of general freight rates from all ports of loading to all ports of shipment, as well as trucking companies Provide administrative support to the Logistics Director and maintain an organized and efficient filing system.
