In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family, and other members of the health care team, the LPN,in collaboration with the Registered Nurse and multidisciplinary team, coordinates the plan of care activities for assigned patient. Identifies opportunities and participates in performance improvement activities as directed. You serve as a key position of the interdependent team, and hold responsibility for achieving positive patient and departmental outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

  • You will provideand documentpatient care based on the nursing process in compliance with hospital policies and procedures under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • You willplan, delegateand coordinatethe nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • You will utilizebasic physical and psychosocial assessment skills to identify actual nursing diagnosis/clinical problems based on assessment of patient and unique age specific needs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • You willperform position specific job functions at an acceptable level.

What qualifications you may need:

  • Current FL or Multistate Compact LPN License (if multistate license, must change primary state of residence within 90 days)

  • BLS approved per policy

  • ACLS approved per policy (within 12 months of hire)
