As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of various types of machinery, ensuring that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained. This team member should be ready to play a vital role in our manufacturing process, working alongside a dedicated team to deliver high-quality products to our customers.Responsibilities

Set up machines and equipment before each production run, ensuring all necessary materials and tools are available.

Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are running smoothly and make any necessary adjustments.

Load and unload materials onto machines as required.

Perform regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established specifications.

Troubleshoot any machine malfunctions or issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and company policies.

Collaborate with other team members to improve machine efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Solid understanding of machine operation principles and functions.

Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and blueprints.

Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.

Physical stamina to withstand long periods of standing and ability to lift heavy objects.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Must meet or exceed company requirements for safety Must complete all required mandatory Safety, OSHA, and ISO 9001 training Reads work instructions to determine job specifications, machine adjustments, and material requirements Operator runs manfacturing machines and processes Learns to follow quality plans, read and work instructions, and blueprints to determine job specifications and material requirements Documents work completed using manufacturing system Positions work piece against stops, or aligns layout marks with die or blade Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction Learns to measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation using dial calipers, snap gauges or micrometers Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces per work instructions Stacks, marks, packs, and transports finished work pieces Recognizes HAZMAT conditions, where necessary Other duties may be assigned
