Detailed Job Description:
  • A strong developer (meaning, should need to have extensive experience in development activities than Maintenance or Prod Support).
  • Very good in COBOL – should have developed new programs in the last 1 year.
  • Good in VSAM – our application is mainly VSAM based, so should be strong in VSAM concepts.
  • Good in JCL/PROCs/GDG
  • Good in SORT utilities.

Technical Skills:
  • Language and Database: COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, DB2, REXX
  • Tools: Changeman, QMF, SPUFI, Omegamon, OPCT – Schedular, ServiceNow, File Aid
  • Others: IBM MQ Series, Connect Direct/NDM, sFTP
  • Prior working experience in retail Banking is a plus.
