Manager, Cost (UPR Finance)

• Guide the operating division management in the development of annual operating budgets and quarterly estimates (LE’s). Evaluate all costs incurred throughout the year, looking for ways to reduce cost / find efficiencies.
• Track and report capital project costs against commitments in the SAP project system. Generate cash flow and earned value projections, manage accruals and prepare required reporting packages.
• Audit financial reports that summarize the performance of the division: weekly labor performance to budget and weekly non-labor performance to budget.
• Maintain an active relationship with Operating division. Prepare and present weekly variance reports with Operators. Analyze performance metrics and identify areas to improve. Recommend solutions to manage within budget.
• Prepare and coordinate special project budgets. Make recommendations regarding operational decisions relative to those projects.
• Oversee completion of all month-end duties, process all invoices and research issues. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
