We also expand our care to the community with our freestanding Emergency Department at Hunter’s Creek ER.Manager Sterile ProcessingPosition Summary:Provides leadership for the daily operations for SPD department and ensures the maintenance quality sterilization procedures and accurate record keeping of these procedures. Assures adequate instrumentation functionality and availability for surgical services and various other areas of the Hospital in accordance with department and facility policies and procedures.Education:High school diploma or GED required
Experience:Three to five years’ experience in Sterile Processing Distribution required
Two to three years’ experience as Sterile Processing Supervisor required
Training:Current CS/SPD certification with either the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSSPD) or the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management.
Skills:Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
