Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to act as a liaison between Engineering product development teams and Manufacturing. As a key member of the new product development team, you will ensure the efficient and effective transfer of product designs to manufacturing. Your role will involve supporting continuous improvement through the use of Lean principles to drive quality and productivity improvement projects. You will participate in and drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by providing comprehensive documentation and schedule requirements for new products released to manufacturing. You will work with engineering teams to create and support IQ, OQ & PQ processes and required documentation for NPI. Additionally, you will develop production tooling using SolidWorks CAD software and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve quality and increase productivity in a safe and cost-effective manner. Daily production sustaining and support for existing products will also be part of your responsibilities. You will test and recommend new equipment, processes, and technologies to produce optomechanical and electrical systems.Hard Skills

The role is hands-on and involves interaction with operators on the floor. You will work alongside two manufacturing engineers and one manufacturing engineering technician, interfacing with the quality department. Ensuring there are no line stoppages is crucial. The work environment includes a 54,000 sqft building with a 20,000 sqft manufacturing area, which is air-conditioned and features an open concept.
