DescriptionTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for projects located in the Newport News, VA area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $27.31/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.If you are a Marine Pipefitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:

Install, maintain, and repair live mechanical piping systems

Ensure compliance with all applicable Plumbing, Mechanical, and Gasfitter codes during installation and repair processes

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical piping systems effectively and efficiently

Work with other trades and project teams to ensure proper installation and system functionality

Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while performing tasks

Requirements

Experience in the installation and repair of live mechanical piping systems

Familiarity with Plumbing Mechanical and Gasfitter codes

Journeymans Plumbing or Gasfitter License is a plus

5+ years of experience
