Market Lead

The Market Lead serves as a liaison between Market team members and the Market Manager to ensure that merchandise is properly stocked and displayed attractively across Eataly’s retail department. The Market Lead promotes exceptional guest service on the retail team, using interpersonal skills and product knowledge to drive sales and improve guest satisfaction. Reports to the Market Manager.Stocks, rotates and faces products according to department procedure and merchandizing standardsCollaborates with the Warehouse team to maintain proper stock levels, organizing back stock and warehouse storage effectively and efficientlyFollows order and inventory procedures and receives deliveries, verifying order and invoice accuracyAssists with delegating tasks, supervising, training and motivating Market AssociatesMaintains accurate department signage, pricing and labellingRotates products according to First In First Out (FIFO) standardsInspects shelves and immediately removes expired or damaged merchandiseCommunicates grocery needs, adjustments and problems to the Market Manager promptly and efficientlyAssesses departmental food waste with department heads and diverts waste to donationsCoordinates catering needs with all store departmentsMaintains relationships with existing customer base through follow-up phone calls, promotional food delivery, and daily order follow-upManages daily administrative responsibilitiesHandles in-store consulting for special events and large catering ordersCommunicates with call center, managers and clients on a regular basis to ensure excellent executionPartners with Guest Relations, Grocery, and Events & Education to coordinate product demosMaintains safe and cleanly work conditions and compliance with state and federal regulationsPerforms light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting and packaging disposal as necessaryPerforms other duties as required or assigned
