Job Responsibilities

Assisting the Captain and ensuring safety of all passengers

Cleaning and Maintenance of yacht’s exterior and engine room

Inventory of all equipment on yacht

Ordering supplies for vessel

Stowage of yacht for going to sea

Continued education and licensing provided by owner

Required Skills

Ability to take direction and complete tasks in a timely manner

Maintenance knowledge and skills; cleaning, rust/corrosion, painting, varnishing, rope splicing, fiberglass, carpentry, outboard motors and maintenance product knowledge

Ability to stand in for captain in his absence

Basic navigation skills

Effective communication with Captain and Owner

Watch keeping and safety knowledge

Excellent tender driving skills

Knowledge of salt water fishing and all water sports a plus

Organized, diplomatic and versatile

Drug free and no alcohol dependency
