Mechanical Plans Examiner and or Inspector

Established engineering firm with over 30 years of providing civil design services and inspection certifications in the South Florida area.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Plans Examiner and/or Inspector to join our team of licensed professionals. Our firm is excited about building an exceptional, reliable team to continue providing services with integrity, transparency, and excellence.

Description & Skills

Perform field inspections during various stages of construction

Read and examine plans and specifications when required

Report violations and maintain files/records

Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures/technology

Prepares and maintains all required records and reports

License and Experience

State of Florida Plan Review License

State of Florida Mechanical Inspector License

State of Florida Mechanical License

BORA certification preferred

3-5 Years of experience in municipal code inspections

High school or equivalent

Good driving record
