This position is located in our Miramar, FL MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility.Onsite:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform varied and complex tasks within the assigned cell

Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble and final prep at least 80% of components within the shop (Electric Power, Accessories, Avionics)

Resolves most questions and problems

Serve as a resource on several topics, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels

Orient, train employees on shop’s product line

Lead or co-lead cell’s team in continuous improvement projects.

Act as back up to Lead Technician.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of work experience in the aerospace industry

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Willing and able to work extra hours, including weekends as business needs require.

Experience in Troubleshooting and Problem Solving

A&P license highly desired but not required
