Medical Scribe

Busy private practice seeking an experienced Medical Scribe. We are looking for a professional who is dependable, hardworking and able to multi-task. This is a full time position, Monday-Thursday.

500.00 BONUS AFTER 6 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT

Candidate must have the following requirements:

· Medical Scribe experience REQUIRED.

· 2-3 + years of experience in the medical field.

· Medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.

· Type documentation in the EHR proficiently. Experience in eClinical Works EHR software a PLUS!

· Understand new requirements for documentation related to ICD-10, MIPS, etc.

· Knowledgeable in recent guidelines for supporting testing and all services provided by the physician.

· Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being ordered and performed by the physician.

· Ensure that all clinical data, lab or other test results, and the interpretation of the results by the physician are recorded accurately in the medical record.

· Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with governing HIPAA regulations.

And any other additional job responsibilities that may be warranted in order to complete your primary job as a medical scribe.
