Metal Finisher

A metal finisher removes dents, scratches, and defects from metal surfaces using hand and power tools. As a metal finisher, your job duties include grinding, sanding, and filling uneven surfaces. Must be capable of using an orbital sander and grinder. Must be able to prep metal to a smooth finish so that it is ready to be coated with industrial paint or powder coat.

Qualifications:

Proven reliability and a strong work ethic.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials repeatedly.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic understanding of safety procedures in a shop and yard environment.

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.

Experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment is a plus (training may be provided).
