The Manager Brand Campaigns and Planning is responsible for campaign execution from end to end designed for optimum performance driving product adoption, customer engagement and account growth. Job Contributions- what you will do Facilitate the end-to-end execution of Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty brand campaigns: Identifying and championing campaigns aligned to key business needs, new products/benefits or branded campaigns

Develop briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders, appropriately communicating the objective, insights, KPI’s, budget and creative direction

Align marketing teams (Brand, Media, Loyalty, Promotions, CRM, Digital, Social, etc.) on campaign needs to support brand building and revenue generation

Coordinate campaign content across all media, getting input from business stakeholders and synthesizing into a completed plan

Integrate content creation and distribution across agency, digital team, budget holder, organic social, etc.

Act as guardian of style and tone in the approval process

Ensure KPIs are achieved, adjusting the plan as needed based on changing business targets and keep program on budget

Own and distribute internal campaign updates both within marketing and cross-functionally, as appropriate by audience - calendars, message, flighting, final tracking, reporting, etc.

Drive the long-term and lead the short-term brand planning efforts for the Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty brands:

Annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly calendar views for all brands aligned to business objectives and in support of key brand campaigns and programs.

Work closely with owned and paid channel owners to ensure consistency in message and creative.

Work with campaign and program owners to support efforts through channel placements within the calendar.

Own and update core brand documents including brand overviews, training materials, marketing plans, etc.

Prioritize placements based on business objectives and KPI’s.

Consistent alignment with brand owners to ensure accuracy and visibility into long-term planning efforts.

Communicate planning efforts to stakeholders within Marketing and in the broader organization:

Monthly or quarterly updates to key partners

Staying apprised of organizational priority shifts and shifting strategy/planning efforts accordingly

Present to partners and internal groups within the organization on brand education and planning initiatives

Work in conjunction with Customer Care and Corporate Communications to ensure alignment across all touchpoints

Additional responsibilities and core functions include:

Identify and champion ad hoc projects that have brand and business impact (example, young renter program, Hertz neighborhood locations, etc.)

Foster consistent brand results measurement, robust industry and brand analytics and a focus on results to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI for the brand

Stay current on market, competition, and trends including analyzing current marketing tactics, concepts, practices and procedures

Collaborate cross-functionally

Educational Background:

Undergraduate degree required in marketing, business management, economics, finance, mathematics, or related / relevant field required.

Professional Experience:

3-5 years of experience in Marketing.

A proven track record in brand management positions, preferably with major brand aligned to campaign management.

Travel Industry experience or CPG experience a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work in, across, and with large teams – often taking a leadership role

Demonstrated project management experience for a broad range of topics and scope, including experience in large-scale project management

Strong background in strategic problem solving

Excellent communications, both verbal and written

Advanced Microsoft Suite product knowledge (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel)

Effective organization and time management skills

Ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines, prioritizing deliverables as appropriate
