Scope of ServicesOur Client's (OIT) - Application Services is in search of a Cloud Architect to play a key role in assisting the Office of Information Technology in the establishment, adoption, and continued execution of cloud services.General responsibilities may include the following:1. Lead cultural change for cloud adoption2. Develop a cloud strategy and coordinate adoption3. Architect, design, facilitate, lead, coordinate, and direct cloud initiatives on multiple fronts across a variety of disparate areas within the organization, this could include: Application development; Data management, analytics and protection; External IT hosting; Identity and access management; Infrastructure; Network; Security, privacy and compliance; User experience

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another related field. 2 years of experience can substitute for education

Experience 10+ years of professional experience in Information Systems or another related field is required.2 – 3 years of strong professional experience as a Microsoft Azure cloud architect is required.Experience with .Net application development in a DevOps environment.2 - 3 years of professional experience in administration of ESRI GIS software is highly desired.2 - 3 years of professional experience with Python development is highly desired.
