Microsoft Visual FoxPro Programmer- DeLand, FL Onsite Brief job description:
- maintains current custom software, databases, and reports
- integrates custom software with vendor supplied software where applicable
- participates in process analysis and implements new feature requests
- maintains MS SQL Server and Macola Progression databases
- creates new custom reports for company-wide use
- facilitates migration of custom software to new workstations
- monitors activity logs, automated emails, database and file backups
- cultivates and maintains relationships with third-party vendors where applicable
- server administration

Involved technologies: - Microsoft Access (VBA, databases, reports, forms, queries, etc)
- Microsoft Visual FoxPro (programs, databases, reports, forms, queries, etc)
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Crystal Reports
Desirable: - Knowledge of USPS postal presort software and processes a plus.
- (e.g. BCC Mail Manager, ACCUZIP, Business Objects, FirstLogic, Postalsoft, etc)
Knowledge of dBase/xBase dialects a plus. - (e.g. FoxPro, dBASE III, dBASE IV, XBase, xHarbour, XSharp, Vulcan.NET, etc)
