Motorhome Production Line Manager

We are a high-end Class-C Motorhome Manufacturer in Nokomis, FL looking to add a Line Manager to our team. We have been in business for 40 years, all of which we have been family owned and operated so you’re not just a number on a paycheck while you’re employed with us. We take pride in knowing we are the highest rated Class-C motorhome builder in the industry. At our facility we start with a cutaway chassis (just the cab and empty frame rails) and turn it into a full motorhome.

We are looking specifically for someone with manufacturing experience who can join our team as a Line Manager. This will be a working hands-on management position. Please don't respond to this ad if you're looking to solely supervise. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

1) Walking the assembly line and frequently checking with crew members as to their status and providing assistance when necessary.

2) Checking QC Paperwork packets daily.

3) Observing and signing off on all LP drop tests.

4) Spot checking multiple items on QC Paperwork and giving a coach a quick once over prior authorizing said coach to move from one department to another.

5) Assisting in the development of Work Instructions on a departmental bases and aiding in keeping said instructions updated.

6) Conducting time studies in the various departments to see to it that target efficiency is being obtained.

Pay will be hourly and depend on the applicant prior experience and skill level. Other benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, optical insurance, life insurance, quarterly profit sharing, and paid major holidays.
