Job Purpose:The purpose of this Request for Quotes is to provide staff augmentation to the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Division of Early Learning (DEL) for the support and maintenance of the Bright Beginnings website. The project timeline will begin after the execution of this RFQ activity and conclude on August 31, 2022. Please note that there is currently an incumbent vendor providing these services.The Bright Beginnings website provides information and access to resources for parents, providers, and other stakeholders to learn about the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program, developmental standards for four-year-olds, and tools to meet the individual needs of children in the VPK classroom. Information about the VPK assessment helps provide teachers with valid and reliable feedback on a child’s progress in obtaining skills described in the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for Four-Year-Olds.The Bright Beginnings website also provides access to the VPK Assessment Online Reporting System.The candidate will also be assigned tasks related to the EFS MOD system as needed.The FLDOE DEL seeks the following staff augmentation position; one (1) Applications Development Analyst.Primary Job Duties:1. Providing ongoing application support and VPK Assessment Help Desk call center support.2. Provide data analysis support.3. Resolve registration problems as reported.4. Resolve problems related to report generation and/or data issues.5. Provide support and monitoring of database, server and application maintenance related to the Bright Beginnings website.6. Accurately process data uploads as needed. Add new providers into the system registration section.7. Respond to request for ad hoc data queries from the system.8. Process application deployments and hot fix updates to applications as needed.9. Perform application design and provide support for approved work items.10. Provide production update and post validation system maintenance. About the Candidate:

Qualifications Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Related work experience will be considered.

Required ExperienceThis position requires the following experience and/or knowledge: 1. 5+ years of IT work experience in software development, installation and modification in an online environment.2. Develops, maintains and supports applications for the Bright Beginnings website.3. Gathers and analyzes requirements and documents components and applications.4. Programs all or selected components of the web applications.5. Develops automation techniques to enable end-user content publishing, as needed.6. Programs, tests and implements mapped graphic images, forms and HTML pages.7. Handles client browser support inquiries.8. Maintains links to external sites and accuracy on internal links while ensuring up-to-date information.9. Researches, evaluates and recommends new internet tools and applications for use on the Bright Beginnings website.10. Have experience in a variety of the more difficult web tools and languages.11. Experience working with state government is highly preferred.12. Experience working with and in-depth understanding of the Bright Beginnings website is preferred.Key DeliverablesTypes of key deliverables include, but are not limited to the following:1.
