Description We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our client’s IT team for a 3-month contract in Coconut Creek, Florida. This role is critical to augmenting workload while a key team member is on leave of absence. The developer will focus on maintaining and developing applications within our organization and will need to handle support tickets, software integrations, and contribute to ongoing projects. Responsibilities: Support and maintain existing applications. Develop new .NET projects to enhance our software solutions. Efficiently address and resolve technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to users. Contribute to software integration projects utilizing skills in MS SQL, T-SQL, VB.NET, C#, and ASP.NET. Collaborate closely with team members to supplement workloads and contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects. Use Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing bugs and issues. Employ C and API Development skills for backend development. Utilize ASP.NET MVC Framework to build scalable and maintainable applications. Use Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET) and SQL for creating applications and managing databases. Utilize Microsoft SQL for managing and manipulating data in the database. Apply C# - Sharp and .NET for building robust and efficient software applications.Requirements Proficiency in .NET, ASP.NET, C# - Sharp, and Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET) Solid background in backend development and API development Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC Framework Proficient in C programming language Experience with Atlassian Jira for project management and bug tracking The ability to work in a team and communicate effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field Experience working in a government setting is a plus.
