Job Title: Network Engineer Location: 1120 Celebration Blvd, Celebration, FL 34747 Description:Contract to hire after 90 daysMust be local to Orlando Top Three Skills:1. Routing- Candidates must be able to configure network backbone across a Global WAN– Connectivity includes carrier MPLS circuits, Point-to-point circuits, and VPN tunnels. Protocols include BGP, ISIS, and OSPF. EIGRP is also used for legacy environments. Internal MPLS is also used to provide L3VPN services to customers.2. Cisco ASR: Candidates must have experience configuring ASR9K using IOS-XR in large enterprise or ISP environments.3. Switches - Candidates must have experience configuring Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switches using IOS and NX-OS. Nice to have: Palo Alto Firewall experience as they will be working with Firewall Engineers on implementations.Job Description: -Write MOPs based on customer direction-Implement network changes following the MOP-Document existing and new network environments-Peer review changes for other team members-Install new devices including code upgrades-Adhere to customer standards-Enable new circuits-CCNP expected, CCIE preferred-Should have at least 7 years experience supporting large networks-Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines-Must be able to work independently-Must provide high-quality workAdditional Information: Percentage breakdown:approx. 80% Planning, testing, writing MOPs, change management, documentation.approx. 20% Execution and validationWork Environment: This position is for the Data Center Team which is part of a larger Global Projects Team. The Data Center Team supports the most highly visibility and complex projects. This team works closely with the customer architects as well as other Projects Team members (Routing, Firewall, Wireless, Voice, etc). This team does not provide on-call incident support. However, they are expected to troubleshoot outage issues that are directly related to ongoing projects. Most work hours are during the day (Monday - Friday). However, implementing late night changes is expected. Changes could occur during weekends too.
